Not until the last couple of years have I watched this much primetime Television. Ther truly are some amazing shows on. Here are my reviews for this season and/or SERIES finales.
FOX started this show to fill in space between the "24" seasons. Well it was so popular, they kept writing more scripts and more seasons. I loved the first 2 seasons, but when they got captured into a panama prison I was over it. Give me a break. So I sort of watched that season. However, this last (and final) season has been great. But as much as I loved it, the show NEEDED to end, they can't keep dragging the story. Well finally, they are free. I know some may be dissappointed in the way the show ended, but a show like this can't end with a 100% happily ever after, so I think it was well written to have Michael Scofield die in the end. I'm just glad they didn't have some funeral scene with them all bawling, but rather a "4 years later" scene showing they are happy and moved on, but grateful for what Michael did for them all.
We heard so much hype about the show, so after watching one of their weekend 2 hour Recap shows, we went and rented the first 4 seasons and got caught up. What a creative show. Although it is quite popular and could likely go on for several more seasons, this show was pre-written and only has one more season remaining (2010). I love the different characters and I hardly ever know what will happen next, which I love.
Another show I did not watch from the beginning, but after seeing severals episodes from syndication (sp?), I decided to watch this season which happenned to be the LAST season. I think it is hilarious. I love the relationship or shall we say "bromance" between J.D. and Turk. I'm not a laugh out loud when I watch TV kind of person..........but this show does make me laugh. I thought the series ended well.
I've watched this from the beginning. I laughed more during the first 2 seasons, but I still do enjoy it. Not my absolute fave. I've heard the original BBC version is quite histerical, I may have to check it out.
So nothing was really on last summer, and I just turned the channel and started watching a summer re-run of this show....and next thing I know, I have been watching every thursday night religiously. (don't you dare call me during Grey's...I won't answer). And no I don't watch it for any love scenes. I love each character, they are so different and I love there interaction with eachother. I love the PATIENT stories. I always thought I would have gone into medicine, so I love to see "a trauma doctor's life". I hate cheesy happily ever afters, so I did like how this season ended. Now of course we are not 100% sure if George and Izzie died, but there has been so much unconfirmed rumors that both TR Knight (George) and Kathryn Heigl (Izzie) wanted to be written off the show. I guess we will find out in the fall.
I watched the pilot for this and then never really watched it after that until ABC did a crossover event with Grey's Anatomy (the star of Private Practice is the ex-wife of one of the Grey's anatomy characters). Well ABC's little trick to increase ratings worked and I started to watch it. The season finale ended with a crazy lady paralyzing a 9-month pregnant woman, claiming the baby was actually hers and beginning to cut the baby out of the mom. Yes, this story-line is a little over the top..........but all of their story-lines do come from real life cases. I will try watching next season and see how it goes.
Here is the BEFORE picture of "The Biggest Loser" with her daughter. This is a 2 hour show and moves slowly so I just watch it during commercials, but I try to keep up with it because the transformations are amazing and I really appreciate it considering this is what I do for work. Her is Helen's after picture. she went from like 250+ down to 117 which is like 55% of her weight. I was sure Tara or the Brown team kid was going to win. Great job to them all!
