We spent the 4th in Newport Beach and stayed overnight for 2 nights. We spent the days at Laguna Beach and watched the firework show atop a parking structure. Kennedee loved playing hide-and-seek with Emma and Rachel. She followed Jaden everywhere he went goofing off with him. She loved Kate Zeedik's twin boys. During the firework show, the twins ran into the van because the noise scared them, and K buried her face into Grandpa.
We were lucky to have my Dad, Heidi, Zane, and Abi visit for a week. Zane went camping with Ryan, while the rest of us went to Zuma Beach, Venice Beach, Santa Monica Pier, The Grove, Movies, and fun dinners. We are so glad we got some fun alone time with them and they spoiled us rotten. Kennedee loves her Aunt Abi who recently turned 9. I forgot to take my camera, so I don't have many pictures.
Oh, and here we are at Summer Solstice in Santa Barbara.
