We are so proud of Kennedee. She really isn't a "play with toys" kind of kid. She loves to do arts and crafts. Her kindergarten teacher always told us how advance K was in Art. So I thought maybe she should try the reflections contest. It was actually her idea. She went to the Ventura County fair this summer with Grammy Roberts and saw children's artwork and she came right home and started practicing so she could also enter the county fair. "I really want a ribbon mom!"
We found out a couple weeks ago that she was a winner for her division at her school. Then we found out the she would be moving on to the district level. Last night she won her for the district and got the "golden envelope" 1st place in her division. She will now go on to the County level. So proud of her. REFLECTIONS THEME: Believe, Dream, Inspire
