Kennedee's Birthday always coincides with my family's spring break. So one again , she had a week of crazy fun to celebrate her 5th birthday. Starting with:
March 10th:
Chuck E Cheese
March 11th:
Six Flags
the kids rides had zero lines, so they did everything several times. My sister Katie came out with her husband and 2 kids, Braden and Carter. Then we were joined by my Dad, Heidi, 2 brothers, sister, Abi and their friends.
after six flags we had dinner at Bucca Di Peppo and the kids did this on their way home!
March 12th:
Santa Monica Pier
we rented bicycles, tandems, and trailer for the kids. Lots of fun. 15 of us in all.
and don't forget the carasel and ice cream on the pier.
March 13th: was our stay at home, quiet day, with the exception of going to the gym to workout.
March 14th: we went to the American at Brand shopping plaza in Glendale and shopped and watched "The Lorax". Tayvlee remarkably stayed in the theatre and in our row for that matter the entire show. The popcorn helped. Afterwards we went to the Griffeth Park Observatory. Tayvlee threw a tantrum and wacked her nose really hard in the process, poor baby.
March 15th: Noah's Ark at the Skirball Center. We've been there many times and it was fun to get to take our cousins.
March 16th: we said our goodbyes to Grandma and Grandpa Johnsen. Thanks so much for making K's birthday week so special. We always have such a great time with you all. That evening we took the kids to the YMCA Leprachan party. They searched for gold coins and got cool St. Patty's prizes and crafts.
March 17th: Hapy Birthday Dane, sorry he left the day before to go back home. We celebrated St. Patrick's day with green pancakes, green milk, and green eggs. And Gramma Bo came first thing in the morning to joing in our fun. Later in the day we went bowling and then to Big Z's for PIZZA and games.
March 18th: Church, hanging out and hot tubbing
March 19th: HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Kennedee!
She had already opened many of her presents throughout the week, so got a couple more on the actual day. We got happy meals and frozen yogurt. Then we said goodbye to the Henries and Gramma BO. We later met up with Grammy and Grandpa Roberts at Red Robin for dinner and more presents. Lala Loopsy was the theme this year. This is one happy birthday girl with all her presents.
