What I learned this Weekend?

Ryan and I spent 2 nights in a cabin north of Frazier Park with our friends, Katie and Noah. With much discussion, here is what we learned.

1. When MEN shop, they are SPENDING money (this is the way they view it). But when WOMEN shop, we are SAVING money. (When I find a cute top that is $88 and it is on sale for $38, who can call that spending? Hello, I am SAVING.

2. It is better to buy your 2nd(vacation) home first, and then your first home. (At least this is what Ryan is trying to convince our friends so we can go in on a cabin together).

3. The best way to live a happier life...........

......Break out into song regardless of who you are with or where you are, just like they do on "Flight of the Concords"

I can do it Myself

On occasion, Kennedee will have asthma symptoms. We have preventitive and emergency meds. Luckily we just give her the preventative stuff at the first sign and she usually is good to go. In the very beginning we had to hold her down will A LOT of force, because we have to administer it through a nebulizer. But now, she knows how much better she feels and knows that she can breather better, so now she actually ASKS for it and will hold the mask up to her face the whole 10 minutes. I am so glad the battle is over.

Catalogue shopping for great ideas

After catalogue shopping all weekend, Katie(my friend) and I couldn't wait to go to the actual stores. We are both IN LOVE with J.Crew. Their fall collection 08 and their spring collection 09 are to die for. I love their color pallette of lite pink, creams, mint, gold accessories....all yummy. But, if you go to their store you will not appreciate their style. You have to see the way they piece their items together. This 100% defines my style (jeans or skirt with a T and cardigan, wrapped together with a high waisted belt or tie). Pick up their latest catalogue or go to JCREW.COM.
