I felt best having a repeat C-section. So we scheduled it for right before my actual due date, August 1st at 8am. Well, my doctor made me wait around until 9am, though, cause he had a lot of calls the night before. I guess I am glad he got a little extra sleep, considering he was about to cut me open. He arrived looking like this (see pic below)
and he prepped himself, while they prepped me. She was born at 9:35am and weighed 8 pounds 2 ounces and was 20.25 inches. I felt pretty good right then, but then a little crappy afterwards when my BP went down.
Overall, I feel the second time around has been much better....so far quicker recovery and I think I will only stay 3 night, rather than 4. Here is Kennedee with her new baby sister, Tayvlee Isla Roberts.

Yeah! I'm so glad that you got to go on Sunday. I hope you continue to feel good. I also got to see some pictures from Grandma at Costco. She has beautiful skin. Congrats!!
Congrats. Both of you look great! You and I were in surgery at the exact same time- yours a little funner than mine! She looks absolutely darling and I'm glad you are doing well. It's awesome to have a husband who is willing to help- even if he can't nurse!
