what is up with Disney????

Tayvlee was blessed this past Sunday at 8 weeks old.

Deep thought:
Why is it that almost all of the disney princesses only have one parent? Is there story more meaningful coming from an abnormal family? Seriously, isn't this weird?

Little Mermaid-dad only
Belle-dad only
Jasmine-dad only
cinderella-step-mom only
snow white-step mom only
pocahontas-dad only
even Dumbo only had a mom

So the Disney marriage success rate is 1 in 7? Sleeping Beauty was the only one with both parents (but she only lived with them as a little newborn... grew up with three little old ladies and then got married at age 16). Interesting. Happily Ever After is only a second generation thing. (but there hasn't been any confirmations of that either...)

It's sad that even the older Disney films only have one parent! The thing that has always bothered me is that Cinderella never tells the prince her name. They dance the whole night long and never bother to introduce themselves?

What bothers me the most is that all their parents are dead. Then half the surviving parent remarries a horrible person(Cinderella, Snow White.) If you read the actual Cinderella books some versions have the dad still alive and just goes along with the step mother. When Justin first watched Lion King at age 2, he realized what death was. It was horrible.
