Kennedee:

Grandpa came over and went upstairs to Kennedee's bedroom (which had been hit by a tornado). Grandpa said, "Kennedee, don't you want to clean your room, so you can find things better?" and K said, "No mommy will clean it."

And why did she say that? Because it is true. I always clean up after her 'cause I will do a better job. Now I need to start teaching her to clean up after herself. Oops!

And a bigger oops......................I left Kennedee alone with Tayvlee for 4 minutes and I heard Tayvlee crying, so I ran downtstairs and asked K why Tayvlee was crying and she said, "She fell off the couch onto her face." I didn't leave Tay on the couch, so apparently Kennedee decided to pick her sister up and put her on the couch by herself. That was a long time out. DO NOT PICK UP YOUR SISTER.

Me:
I am becoming more of a real mom everyday.............you know the ones that make homemade bread, belong to book clubs, and make crafts with other moms. Well I have done all of the above in the last few months. I used to think moms were so boring for doing those things, and here I am turning into that. But Oh, how I love my homemade bread, I never want to buy storebought again.

Ryan:
Just finished his first semester at Cal Lutheran. I don't enjoy being a single parent when he is at classes or studying all night long, but I am very proud of how hard he is working.

I feel so content in life right now. Sure I would love a bigger house. But when our neighbors just sold the identical model for $130,000 less than what we paid for ours, I know that isn't happening anytime soon. But that is ok, it is less house to clean and very cozy.
And who needs a backyard when I let K use the couches as a trampoline and let her ride her scooter all over the downstairs? Who needs asphalt?

And sure I would love for Ryan to be all done with school, but I don't want to just wish each day away. I want to live each day to the fullest and enjoy every minute. I am so happy with life right now. All my basic needs are met, we have no debt (excpet the mortgage of course), I have 2 beautiful, healthy girls, and a great husband who loves me and is a great daddy. I have great family on both my side and Ryan's side. And my forever long TO-DO list of the last few months is finally at ZERO.

Tayvlee:
She is 6 months old and sitting up on her own and learning to scoot around. She is eating solids now and my friend introduced me to the best baby food ever called, "Plum Organics" and she seems to love them, too.
