What Would You Do?

Something you may not know about me is that I love shows like PRIMETIME and 20/20. I am always fascinated in the different stories of mysteries. I really like this new show on ABC Tuesdays at 10pm. Each week it poses different situations in which they hire actors to do something crazy and see how people react. This weeks episode they had a woman harrassing her nanny in a public restaurant to see if people would get involved and try to help this poor nanny. They also had a very realistic ,yet fake newborn baby, left alone in a HOT car too see if people would stop and call the cops, etc. You bet your @$% I would break the farthest window of that car and run away with that baby and keep it. What kind of mother would do that? Anyways it is so interesting because sometimes I think I might not get involved if I risked getting hurt. But, check this show out. It is the same host that did the "To Catch a Pedafile" show.

The Good and the Bad

I have two new goals this year. The first is to ALWAYS think of something good in my life any time something bad happens. I've tried to keep an attitude of gratitude and it really does make life much better. This week:

Bad Scents: This hardly ever happens, but wednesday night I just felt like having "K" with me, so I went and got her out of her crib and put her in bed snuggled with me. Well I like to think I had good mommy intuition because she threw up several times all over the bed. I am glad I was there when she was sick................but lots and lots of STINKY laundry for two days.

Good Scents: On a good note, I've been searching for that perfect scent. Whenever my clients come in with a little perfume on, I think, why do I always forget to put it on. I love when other people smell so yummy. However all my bottles of perfume are smelling a little alcohol-ish. Hmmm, could it be that I never wear it enough to finish a bottle. Well finally this week I found the yummiest sent at anthro....called SATU-vanilla fusion. I never even sampled it before because c'mon vanilla...so old lady. But it's actually a lot spicier than you would think with black kala lilly, macintosh apple, and kava bean. So that is my second goal this year. Remember to put on perfume more often.

Bad Luck: I got scammed $400 on paypal. You use a legitimate source and still get scammed, ugh!

Good Luck: I dropped something in the parking lot and could have gotten scammed, but a woman ran after me and gave me my items. Love that there is still some integrity in this world.

In Memory Of

No, I am not posting a pic of my latest marathon. Truth is, this marathon is the last time I really ran. 2 weeks before the LA Marathon 06, I wore the wrong shoes going way too fast down hill and totally jacked my knee. I stayed off of it and foam rolled like crazy and thank goodness on race day, my knee didn't bother me until mile 18. I finished a little over 4 hours (my goal was under 4-dangit). Well ,my knee hurt for days, then weeks, and surprisingly after several months it hurt every time I ran. Walking OK, stairs OK, classes OK, just running. And now 3 years later I haven't run much at all and I kind of miss it.........so I registered my butt for a 5k next month. Hey, I signed up and paid my fees now I have to run it. For anyone who may read this that is a friend of Ginger Clintons, please join me and many others in running the Great Race of Agoura Deena Kastor 5k in her behalf on March 28th. You can run or walk,it is up to you. Register here at: http://www.greatraceofagoura.com/.

I love those shows. I saw the one about the baby and it made me cry that it could have been a real baby and so many people passed it by.

I'm running a half marathon in May and can't wait. I've always wanted to run a marathon but think I should probably work my way up to it. Good luck on yours. You are amazing.
